ストラップ作りに挑戦しました。最初に説明を聞いた時は手順が複雑そうで自分にできるのかとても不安でしたが、先生が優しく教えてくださり、最終的には納得のいくものが出来上がりました。途中からは作業に没頭できるようになり、とても楽しめました。また機会があれば挑戦してみたいです。

丸台を使った組紐は初めてだったので不安もありましたが丁寧に教えていただいてありがとうございました！
やってみないとわからない職人さんの凄さを実感。バランス良く組まないとねじれが出てしまったり！いろいろ学べました(^-^)

It was a fantastic experience
I was a bit late but the teacher was so nice to wait until I arrived
I joined this activity because of the influence of the anime ‘Your Name’
I was so enjoyed for the whole activity!
Teaching was so understandable. When we did anything wrong, the teacher pointed them out soon and taught us the right ways patiently
Although all of us were beginners in the beginning, we were like a ‘professional’ with our pretty work.
It was an enjoyable hour of activity
I will definitely join this again if there is a chance

I attended the kumihimo braiding session last Sunday, Mar 3, 2019. It was a wonderful session conducted in Japanese and English. The sensei (teacher) is very nice and patient. With the small group set up, the teacher spends time with each individual explaining the traditional kumihimo braiding technique. It was fun and interesting. Guidance notes are available in Japanese and English too. If you are interested in arts and handicrafts and would like to bring home a different experience when travelling to Japan, I would recommend you to give it a try.
