Great experience Master Yoshida is a great guy and even greater sword smith 10/10 experience appreciate Robert speaks English so he can explain the small details for you. Mr Yoshida is all world artist makes sure every detail is perfect!!

今回、初節句の祝いと自分の趣味を併せて体験させていただきました！言葉の語源は刀鍛冶から来ているものが多い事や由来や奥深さを改めて痛感いたしました。師匠はじめ、弟子の方々の丁寧な説明と和やかな中で体験できました。

We had an awesome time at the knife making experience in master Masaya Yoshidas workshop. One of his apprentices, Robert, a native English speaker, instructed and helped us all the way to the finished product. We love the knife and now use it in our Kitchen on a daily basis. Robert also answered every question we had about the rich history behind the craft of Japanese sword making and we got to observe and chat with the master too. Your knife is made from the same Tamagahane steel as a Katana, so it's a really cool and practical souvenir. Thank you so much for having us! Great memories!

Made a Tanto with Yoshida Masaya shishou and apprentice Robert. Had an amazing time and actually planning on coming back to make full sword. Highly recommend the experience to all.
